Mooseheads training camp roster trimmed to 42

The Halifax Mooseheads training camp roster continues to be whittled down at the Dartmouth 4Pad after goalie Simon Bucheler and forward Miguel Duchaine were reassigned.

Bucheler, the team’s third round pick in June’s QMJHL Entry Draft, decided to return home to gain more experience in Midget. Duchaine was injured in Saturday’s Green vs White intrasquad game and will play for Granby in QJAAAHL this season. He was attending his second training camp with the Mooseheads after being drafted in the 11th round in 2017.

The recent changes leave 42 players at camp including five goalies, 15 defencemen and 22 forwards.

42 Players leftThe Mooseheads play host to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in preseason action tonight at the Dartmouth 4Pad at 7pm. The game is sold out and tickets will not be sold at the door. The Herd will travel to Acadie-Bathurst on Wednesday before hosting the Titan on Friday night at 7pm at Acadia University in Wolfville. Tickets are available for the Wolfville game at
