Mathieu Bizier is one of three players from the Levis Commandeurs ranked in the first round. QMJHL Central Scouting has him at #14 on their list. Scouts describe Bizier as a hard worker who compliments skilled linemates well although it’s noted that he will need to improve his skating to be successful at the next level. His vision and hand-eye coordination are also considered key assets to his game. The 5-foot-11, 165 pound Bizier played centre on both the second and third lines and produced eight goals and 17 assists in 39 games played.
