Training Camp roster down to 29 after latest releases


The Halifax Mooseheads have released three players from the training camp roster. Defencemen Jack McGovern, Curtis Heffernan and forward William Dagenais have been reassigned.

That leaves 29 players at training camp including 17 forwards, nine defencemen and three goalies.

McGovern and Heffernan were attending their second camps with Halifax with McGovern coming over in a 2017 preseason trade with Saint John and Heffernan as a free agent invite. Dagenais was a fourth round pick by the Mooseheads this past June.

Camp Roster 18-19 August 26th update

The preseason schedule will continue on Friday, September 7th when the Herd visit the Moncton Wildcats in Springhill, NS. The next preseason home game is set for Saturday, September 15th at 7pm at the Halifax Forum versus Moncton.
