Mooseheads roster at 26 after Petten leaves camp

The Mooseheads are down to 15 forwards at training camp and 26 players overall after forward Kyle Petten opted to return to the Campbellton Tigers of the Maritime Hockey League for his 18-year-old season.

The Coley’s Point, NL winger split last season between Halifax and Campbellton. He had zero points in 13 games with the Mooseheads before being sent to the Tigers where he scored 10 goals in 14 regular season games. Petten was named to the Canada East selection camp roster this summer for the 2019 World Junior A Challenge. He was drafted by the Mooseheads in the sixth round of the 2017 QMJHL Entry Draft.
