Your Halifax Mooseheads (15-13-2-1) play host to the Charlottetown Islanders (18-12-4-0) this Friday night at 7pm in the annual Teddy Bear Toss game.
Fans are urged to bring a new stuffed animal to the game and when the Mooseheads score their first goal you can toss your teddy onto the ice! It’s always one of the most memorable moments of the season. The bears will then be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic.
The two Maritimes Division rivals have previously met fives times this season which included a 4-1 Mooseheads win on Wednesday in Charlottetown. The Islanders have won three of the five battles this season while Halifax is 12-5-1-1 at home against Charlottetown over the last five seasons.
Max Trepanier has been on a hot streak for the Mooseheads and has scored at least one point in each of his last 16 games. The 20-year-old forward now has 22 goals and 20 assists this season and is second on the team in scoring with 42 points behind Raphael Lavoie (44).
Tickets are on sale now at the Ticket Atlantic Box Office, select Superstore outlets, TicketAtlantic.com, the Official Mooseheads Shop or charge by phone 902-451-1221.
