Mooseheads participate in Salvation Army Kettle Kick Off

Members of the Halifax Mooseheads were happy to take part in some fun on Friday morning in the Annual Kettle Kick Off with the Salvation Army – Maritime Division.

Benoit-Olivier Groulx, Maxim Trepanier and Raphael Lavoie participated in some lighthearted competitions against members of the Halifax Thunderbirds, Halifax Wanderers FC and Ana Almeida of CTV Morning Live. The event is a way to officially begin the Kettle Campaign.

The event took place at the Halifax Forum  – Multi-Purpose Centre with the help of Glow the Event Store. CTV Morning Live will broadcast the friendly competition on Monday, November 25th.

Now in its 129th year, the Kettle Campaign is The Salvation Army’s largest fundraising drive of the year – it seeks donations from the public to help assist millions of people living in poverty with the basic necessities of life, such as food, clothing and shelter.

This vital campaign transforms the lives of Canadians including helping people find a way out of poverty. We need your help to equip more people to do the same and want you to know that every donation to a Christmas kettle remains in the community in which it was given, in order to help local people in need.

Please help Fill the Kettle in your community.
